Latvian pianist, Antonina made a memorable appearance at The Belfry Centre in 2021 when she accompanied the Cellist Leo Popplewell. Her virtuosic and compelling playing of the enor-mous piano part in the Rachmaninov Cello Sonata really stood out and we hoped she would be able to come back for a solo recital. She is increasingly in demand across the world, so we are very happy she is able to join us again. The programme includes a Mozart Sonata, Brahms 6 Pieces Op.118 and Prokofiev’s immense 6th Piano Sonata.
