Matilda is in her final year reading Music at Trinity College, Cambridge and has been awarded a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music. She made her BBC Proms solo debut in July 2016 with the BBC Philharmonic. She won the BBC Young Musician of the Year Brass Final in 2014 and was the Principal Trumpet of the EUYO in 2016. She is a Making Music uk’s Phillip And Dorothy Green Young Artist.

John is a principal of the Aurora Orchestra, with whom he has appeared at the major London concert venues, including the Proms and in Shanghai, Brazil and at the Melbourne Festival. He studied at Clare College, Cambridge and at the Royal Academy of Music and is now an Associate of the RAM, teaching at both the RAM and at Goldsmiths College.
