The Overstrand Festival of Early Music
April 3rd - April 7th 2024
We are very excited to announce the inaugural Overstrand Festival of Early Music which will take place between April 3rd-7th 2024. A collaboration between The Belfry Centre for Music & Arts & Cromer Music Evenings, the Festival will include internationally renowned musicians and the launch of the 1st Overstrand International Lute Competition.
Highlights will include Norwich Baroque playing Handel, Garth, Mudge and more, an early music folk session with Jim O’Toole & friends, the Bellot Ensemble, Flutes & Frets, a late night candlelit concert, the first ever Overstrand International Lute Competition and 3 semi–staged perfor-mances of Dido & Aeneas at Templewood with Bertie & Eddie Anderson as Directors.
